My therapeutic approach

Do you find yourself caught in the same patterns in your relationships, in how you feel, in how you respond to the world, and wonder why they're so hard to change? Perhaps you're looking for a space to finally understand yourself more deeply.

I specialise in working with people who feel things deeply: those who are emotionally sensitive, self-critical, or struggling with self-worth or self-belief. This includes neurodivergent and highly sensitive people, a community I'm part of myself.

In our sessions, we'll work at your pace, getting curious about your patterns, your inner world, and what might be driving them. I work integratively, drawing on humanistic approaches (focusing on your present experience and innate capacity for growth), psychodynamic thinking (exploring how the past shapes the present and the unconscious drives beneath your patterns), and existential exploration (sitting with the bigger questions of meaning, identity, and how you want to live).

I may also bring in creative and somatic tools, depending on what feels right for you. My practice is trauma-informed and justice-informed.

You can expect sessions to feel warm, compassionate, and genuinely collaborative. This is a space where honesty is encouraged and where nothing is too small or too complex to bring.

Client testimonials

  • I felt very understood and seen throughout the entire session. I left the session feeling confident in my abilities to overcome my current challenges. Highly recommend.

  • Ash is a great listener who asks the right questions. She made me feel safe to express myself and explore some hard topics. After only one session with her, I was able to gain a better understanding of myself, the things I need to work on, and the tools that can help me with that. I highly recommend working with Ash.
