December 2018: The Gratitude Journal

I'm thankful, grateful, appreciate.png

Hey guys, happy December🌷✨

It’s the end of the year! There’s SO much to talk about but I want to start off this month by giving you a gentle reminder:

Never compromise who you are in order to fit in. Simply by being yourself, you’re enough! Imagine how boring the world would be if everyone was exactly the  same. Think about some of the amazing, unforgettable people you know and you’ll realize that they have one thing in common- they stayed true to themselves. The world needs more genuine people. You are going to experience people who don’t understand you but you’ll also meet those who see your value. Life is way too short to mould yourself into something you’re not. So rather than emulating someone else, let’s strive to be the best version of ourselves. You want to live you life your knowing that you stayed true to yourself and your purpose on this earth.

How are you feeling about this year coming to an end?

Love Ash, xx

    2. Ahh I’m glad to hear that you’re doing well! I’m asking myself the same question. At this time of year I always drive myself crazy with that question but it’s the end of the year, no time for regrets we have plenty of time to do the things we love aha xx

      1. so right about that 😊💕

  2. I’m not sure how I feel about this being the last month of 2018. It’s been a beautiful year, but I haven’t reached a couple of my goals. I think I became sidetracked by just enjoying life, and numerous present moments!

Stay true to yourself. I am doing that, but even at my age, I’m still discovering who she is, and who she wants to become.

My darling daughter will be in England for Christmas, and Paris for the New Year. It’s a dream come true for her, but I haven’t celebrated Christmas, or a new year without her, so that is new and different. One day at a time on that one.

So, instead of setting goals for next year, I’m just going to be kind.

    Much love my friend! xxx

    1. Sometimes I feel like those are the best years when you’re just living in the present moments and enjoying life. We often forget to prioritize haveing fun and enjoying ourselves. That’s a goal in itself and something to be proud of!

I haven’t achieved some of my goals this year either, however I will carry them onto the new year. It’s very that whilst we should take our goals seriously, we are lenient and kind to ourselves in the process. Some things take longer to achieve- life gets in the way.

That’s so beautiful to hear you discovering yourself. It just shows how you can love yourself and explore who you are at any age.

That’s amazing! She’s going to have a wonderful time. Christmas in the UK is a massive deal so she’ll have lots of fun. It must be so nice to see her going to these places, make those kind of memories. But I know that would be difficult to get used to her not being around. Think about it like this- you raised an amazing daughter who’s traveling the world, living her life to the fullesr. That’s something to be proud of for sure!

I love the simplicity of your next year goal. I definitely plan on being more kind to myself.

I hope you have a lovely week and thanks for sharing as always xxxx
